THE  CONTENTS

Each book is a compilation of 50 paste paper designs, which Marie Kelzer created and painted.  The papers were painted from 2000--2007.  Beside each Plate number in each publication is a list of the primary tools used in creating the specific designs.  Over the years Marie has collected a wide assortment of tools; many from garage sales and hardware/kitchen shops.  The volumes includes tools such as steel and handmade combs, pastry rollers found at a garage sale, rubber stamps off a sheet cut into different sizes, cookie cutters and lego toys.  By changing the technique used she creates different designs using the same tool and the same patterns using different colors or tones.
